Caring for Missionaries Around the Globe
As your church sends out and supports missionaries globally, they desperately need you to be engaged with them along the way. Send well, serve well, care well — simply steward them well. Believing in them, encouraging them, and standing with them through the ups and downs of ministry will aid them in being more effective gospel proclaimers.

Context
In our Church Missions Leader Survey Report + Analysis that came out fall of 2019 we highlighted “10 Key Attributes of an Effective Church Missions Leader” (You can check it out on pages 28–29). One of those Key Attributes is “Steward Your Missionaries.”
In light of the changing realities of dealing with the COVID-19 at home in North America, we can’t lose sight of our missionaries around the globe. Some agencies may have workers who are serving in the harder hit areas of the world. As we seek to adjust at home we need to find ways to encourage and care for our missionaries globally and engage our congregations too.
