Where are our missionaries?

As long as there are people with no access to the gospel we must continue to send those who will proclaim Christ to the nations. North American missionaries are serving in every corner of the globe — from high mountains, to small islands, from the wilderness to the mega-city. We pray the Lord of the harvest will continue to raise up workers who will go! This Missiographic represents data from those organizations that participated in the 2016 research for the 22nd edition of the North American Mission Handbook: US and Canadian Protestant Ministries Overseas.

Engaging through Prayer
Lord of the nations, we ask you to raise up even more workers who will go to the nations. People who are ready to go to every region, every nation, every city, every village, and every people group. O Lord, we desire to see no one die without having a chance to hear, see, and know Christ. Father, we ask that in our generation missionaries will be able to proclaim your gospel even in the most closed and distant lands. We ask that you allow your people to continue to bear your message to the unengaged and unreached.

Personal Reflection
As you reflect on the regional placement of missionaries around the world is there an area that your heart is drawn to? North American mission leaders, you are mobilizing and placing workers around the globe on a regular basis. Remember you do not stand alone. We are part of a great community of gospel focused, proclamation minded missionaries. Let us continue to find ways together to partner more creatively and engage more strategically to raise up a new generation of missionaries that will go to every corner of the globe!
