This page will always contain the most up-to-date information on how to manage your organization/church profile on the Missio Nexus site.
As the Primary Contact, you will receive emails (including membership renewal invoices) on behalf of your organization/church. If responding to these items is not in your purview, please forward them to the appropriate person within your organization.
Signing Yourself In
As the primary contact person, you have certain tasks only you can perform. We encourage the use of a generic email or one for a person who will not interact on the platform to avoid profile complications.
The use of an email by a person who interacts on the platform or who registers for events results in changes of the organization/church name making it difficult to be seen in the directory. This is a change we can assist with so please reach out to us.
To log in with your Primary Contact credentials, follow these easy steps:
- Go to https://missionexus.org/
- Click “Login” on the top right corner
- Type in your email address in the email field
- Click the “get password” first to proceed. You will receive a temporary password through your email. (You can change this password later.)
- Copy/paste the temporary password from your email into the password field, complete the math problem, and click “Log in”.
- You are now logged in!
Login Problems
If you or a staff member have difficulty signing in or encounter a “log in loop,” try these strategies:
- Open a different browser, log in there, and copy-paste the desired link again.
- If still not logged in, exit the page, go back to your default browser, and clear the cache. Make sure all data is cleared.
- Give it time, refresh, then re-log in.
If these steps don’t resolve the issue, your account may need to be updated. Send us your email address, and we will happily check it for you!
Navigating the Website
Right-Side Drop-Down Menu (underneath the Organization name in top right corner)
- Profile allows you to upload your organization/church’s logo and banner or tagline. Add your logo and this will be displayed in the members’ directory. This is not mandatory but makes a splash in the directory – an opportunity for you to showcase your ministry to members of our network and those who review the directory when they visit the website. You may click this link to see the directory of members.
- Account – everyone in your staff has this Account page. They will see these sub-tabs and their functions:
- Login Information: Change your password.
- Notification Settings: Enable/disable Missio Nexus communication preferences.
- Privacy: Select who may see your profile details, billing, and shipping addresses.
- Profile Visibility: Set the organization/church to “visible”. Each staff member can adjust these settings to their preference.
- Membership: Find your Primary Contact information, subscription options, membership renewal link, and payment history. Add and remove staff under the sub-account tab.
- Purchases: View all transactions made on the website and links to downloadable products.
- Timeline: View your activities on the Missio Nexus News Feed.
- Connections: See your connections and requests to connect with other members.
- Groups: See which groups you belong to and group invitations.
- Email Invites: Invite people to the Missio Nexus website (note: this does not connect people to your membership profile and should not be used to invite your staff members).
Managing Staff Additions/Removals on Your Profile
As the Primary Contact for your organization, it’s important to add your staff to give them access to all Missio Nexus resources. From the dropdown menu under the organization name at the top-right corner after you sign in:
Add New Staff Account
- Click on “Membership”.
- Click on “Subscription”.
- Scroll all the way to the right and click on “Sub-accounts” to add staff one-by-one.
(If you get a response that the username already exists, use the “existing username” spot to add them and leave the username field empty.)
Each person should receive a notification they have been added. If not, they can go to the website, click the “Log in” button, use the “get password” link to request a password, and proceed from there.
Remove Inactive Staff
To remove inactive staff, send us a list of their email addresses and we will do the removing from the website.
Accessing Rightnow Media Resources
Right Now Media is a huge platform of Bible study resources. Through Missio Nexus, access is provided for you and your staff for free. You will find videos suitable for different topics for Bible studies, workshops for adults, and activities for groups and families. To get access, send a list of your staff emails to Help@MissioNexus.org, and we will send invitations to each person.
Note: this member resource is only for Organization accounts and their members.
Participating in Groups
One of the key benefits of being part of Missio Nexus is the ability to network with mission professionals from many various organizations. We have provided networking forums on several different topics like People Care, Agency Financial Management, and Church Mission Leaders. Look for Groups at MissioNexus.org in the Menu on the left side. Sign up for ones that interest you.
You can also copy and paste the paragraph below in a memo for your staff:
“Did you know, as members of Missio Nexus, we have various benefits? Like, RightNow Media library for Bible study resources, Evangelical Missions Quarterly, Media Library of recorded webinars and events and Groups where you can interact with people from different disciplines. Go to GROUPS and see the different areas where you can ask questions, provide answers and learn more.”
Member Data Form
Missio Nexus is an association made up of hundreds of organizations and churches. Each one benefits from various learning experiences, including research done within the community.
A few key resources at Missio Nexus are facilitated through the collection of data from the entire membership, plus some who are not members. With this data we publish reports on such subjects as Compensation, Mobilization and others. We would not be able to do this without your participation.
Help us paint an accurate picture of the North American missions movement by sharing your insights. Each year Missio Nexus members share generalized data with each other. This helps leaders make more informed decisions about trends, changing mission realities, and provides a picture of the US and Canadian missions movement. The team at Missio Nexus strongly encourages all members to participate as it helps us all do better. Participants are given a free copy of the Member Data Report each Spring.

Notifications and Privacy Settings
As you add your staff to the organization’s profile, encourage each person to update their profile. This helps us create resources and offer events to meet the needs of the group. Each person should adjust their notification settings and update their job title and role. You may want to copy and paste the paragraph below in an email to staff:
“Updating your profile on the Missio Nexus site is a great way to make sure you get all the information you need and only the information you want. Please consider changing the Privacy Settings on your profile. To find your Privacy Settings, click on your name in the top right of the page and select Account, then Privacy. Unless you select “public” this will not expose your information outside of Missio Nexus.”
Renewing Your Subscription
- Log in to Missio Nexus with your Primary Contact email
- Navigate to the dropdown under your organization/church’s name at the top right corner of the website
- Click on Membership > Subscriptions
- Scroll to horizontal bar to the far right to see the highlighted text “Subscribe”
- Go ahead and fill the form on the next page and update your payment information
- When done, hit “Sign up” button at the bottom
Updating Your Payment Information
- Log in to Missio Nexus with your Primary Contact email
- Navigate to the dropdown under your organization/church’s name at the top right corner of the website
- Click on Membership > Subscriptions
- Scroll to horizontal bar to the far right to see the highlighted text “Update”
- Go ahead and fill the payment info form on the next page
- When done, hit the “Submit” button at the bottom
Cancelling Your Subscription
- Log in to Missio Nexus with your Primary Contact email
- Navigate to the dropdown under your organization/church’s name at the top right corner of the website
- Click on Membership > Subscriptions
- Scroll the horizontal bar to the far right to see the highlighted text “Cancel”
- Hit Cancel.
- A pop-up window will ask you to confirm cancellation, click Yes to confirm.
Statement of Faith and Community Standards
As members of Missio Nexus, we are requesting that you to sign our Statement of Faith and Community standards. This agreement outlines the shared values and expectations that we hold as a community.
By signing the agreement, you’re demonstrating your commitment to:
- Upholding the faith and values that bind us together.
- Creating a safe, respectful, and inclusive environment for all members.
- Contributing to the positive growth and well-being of our community.
The agreement provides a framework for how we interact with one another and ensures that everyone understands their rights and responsibilities within the community.
Signing the agreement is an important step in building a stronger and more vibrant community together.
