Status of the Latin American Mission Movement

The Mission Exchange announces the December Global Issues Update Status of the Latin American Missions Movement

Complex global challenges impact Great Commission activities at every level. No matter how connected and motivated you are as an individual Christ-follower, church or mission leader, you can’t be an expert on everything.

Global Issues Update is a bi-monthly (6 times per year) downloadable webinar that focuses on big picture issues impacting the world of missions. This resource is free for all categories of membership with The Mission Exchange and $19.95 for others.

The December 2009 edition of Global Issues Update addresses the Status of the Latin American Missions Movement with subject matter expert David Ruiz, Associate Director of the World Evangelical Alliance (WEA) Mission Commission, and former President of the Latin American mission network, COMIBAM. One of the most encouraging aspects of missions today is the emergence of the non-western, majority world mission force. Over 12,000 missionaries have been sent by Latin American churches; as many as 50% of them are serving among the least reached.

In this downloadable resource you will learn how God is using the Latin American mission force, what we can learn from them and how to be an encouragement to them.
