Pray with Haiti

Like so many organizations with mission partners in Haiti, our hearts are filled with concern and empathy for good people who are in unimaginable circumstances brought about by out-of-control lawlessness. People are hungry, roads are unsafe, supplies are scarce, and many organizations have shut their doors and left the country. The hopeful news is that countless churches and other Christian organizations are continuing day-to-day to do their very best to minister to a country in dire need.

What can we do? First and foremost, we can pray!

Please set aside time on April 2nd, 2023, to ‘Pray with Haiti.’ The invitation is open to all Christians who want to join in specific and intentional prayer. Churches in the United States will agree in prayer with Haitian churches on this date.

MBF, the Medical Benevolence Foundation, is coordinating the day of prayer. Please visit www.mbf.org/pray-with-haiti to register your interest. Prayer requests from churches in Haiti will be shared with registrants. This is a non-denominational call to prayer – all Christians are invited.

Whether you include praying with Haiti in your regular church services, in a special service, in small groups, or in some other way, you will make a difference. As Galatians 6:2 says, “bear ye one another’s burdens and so fulfill the law of Christ.”
