Multicultural Mobilization: Moving from Assumptions to Awareness

Mobilization Track | Workshop Set 3

Thursday, September 29, 2022 13:45 PM

Description

Primary Audience Mobilizers, agency leaders, and church mission leaders Description There’s been a lot of discussion and some work done in mobilizing communities of color.

With our culture constantly and rapidly changing, how do we gain traction? What happens when the assumptions that form our realities do not align with the assumptions that form the realities of those who are culturally different?

In this workshop we will explore practical strategies that have been proven to increase cultural awareness within the agency, sensitivity for the mobilizer and help to discover culturally astute approaches for new networks.

If you’re looking for real-life examples, best practices or just a tool for learning that you can apply immediately, this workshop is for you!
