Fresh Air for Mission Leaders

As Mission Leaders you have lots of ongoing work on your plate, as well as challenges and limitations. You are not alone! In this leadership series Sherri Dodd, founder and executive director of Advance Global Coaching provides an interactive learning forum with special guests of other mission leaders and mission coaches to help you breathe and move forward with wisdom and support for your significant role. Don’t miss the engaging scenarios each week that stimulate your thinking. There were three sessions:

1.  Clearing the Fog

In this webinar you gain clarity on what coaching is and how it is distinctive from other helping services like counseling, consulting, and mentoring. Not every job needs a “hammer”. Let’s explore some tools in a mission leader’s toolbox and practice how to choose the best one for the job. Don’t miss our surprise guest!

2.  Breathing Easy

In week two we explore the importance of finely tuned skills.  Can anyone coach? What is the value of a credentialed coach? Listen in on a coaching demo and decide for yourself. Learn how coaching helps with life balance, retention of workers, fundraising, staff development, marriage enrichment and more. Who is our special guest today?

3.  Exhaling – A Job Well Done

We all long to hear, “Well done, thou good and faithful servant.” In our grace filled environments can we be too relaxed? In this session we discuss accountability in missions work and how coaching promotes a healthy version of this. We breathe deeply when a job is well done. Meet our special guest and learn from his insights.
