Description

Primary Audience Trainers and member care personnel wishing to improve tck-related services Description Preparing families for the unique needs that third culture kids and their parents experience during cross-cultural service should be part of every organization’s pre-field training. Transitions, grief and loss, identity challenges, culture shock, spiritual warfare… parents need to know how to guide themselves and their children through these common challenges. But what is the standard for this care? Beginning in 2022 a tck care accreditation program is being piloted as the first initiative towards offering metrics by which organizations can be evaluated for the quality of their tck care programs. In this workshop we’ll look at how these standards can be applied to pre-field tck training. Sponsored by: {[A-CUSTOM TAG:SPONSOR – GLOBAL FRONTIER MISSIONS]}
