CEO/Co-founder, Sowing Seeds of Joy Ministries

Ron Nelson is a licensed and ordained minister, and co-founder of Sowing Seeds of Joy founded in 2007 to connect the hearts of people to the heart of God. Ron holds a B.A. in Vocational Rehabilitation and Counseling. He is a former police officer, US federal agent, and mission director at Oak Cliff Bible Fellowship in Dallas, TX. He has served as a mission mobilizer, Perspectives coordinator, trauma healing facilitator, Evantell trainer, and trained chaplain. Ron’s travels and experience have taken him to 14 countries and numerous cities within the US to speak, train, and mobilize. His passion for missions was birthed out of his desire to see more African-Americans become involved in cross-cultural missions.
