Missionary Effectiveness and Intercultural Competence – Part 1

We will explore intercultural competence as a contributor to missionary effectiveness. Supporting topics covered in this presentation include misconceptions of missionary competence, a description of intercultural competence, differentiating it from cross-cultural competence and toleration of cultural differences, and factors that foster intercultural competence. Some recent studies on intercultural competence will be highlighted.
