Land on Your Feet: Preparing People for Transitions
Dennis Robert, Associate Executive Director, Personnel, an independent missions sending organization

According to the DISC inventory, approximately 70% of us are high personalities that love stability, predictability, and steadiness. So, what happens when it is necessary to transition back home? Most international workers choose the timing of these returns (resignation, retirement), but others do not (medical conditions, family emergencies, aging parents, termination). How does one think about landing on your feet after years away from the U.S. job scene?

The webinar will provide insights into how one organization structures its personnel transitions. We will investigate: Ways to understand personal gifts, strengths, and talents. The work quadrant. Finding professional job leads from afar. Transferrable skills that international workers have that organizations and business desire. Projecting a new persona.

Dennis Robert (pseudonym) has led the personnel division for a 500 person sending organization for the past three years.
