Bio: Dr. Marvin J. Newell is a missiologist and Senior Vice President of Missio Nexus. Previously he served as a missionary in Papua, Indonesia, a mission administrator, a professor of missions, and director of a missions association (IFMA). He is the author of four mission related books, the most recent being Crossing Cultures in Scriptures: Biblical Principles for Mission Practice. He is also adjunct professor at Moody Theological Seminary, and sits on the board of five different mission organizations. Additionally, he is the General Editor of the Evangelical Missions Quarterly. Marv and his wife Peggy have been involved in missions for over 41 years.
