Webinar: Winter Coordinates and The Shifting Center of the Global Church

Description:

The missionary community has long considered the reality that the center of the global Christian movement has been steadily moving east and south. But what is happening with the rest of the world’s population? Is there a center to the unreached? Join Missio Nexus president Ted Esler as he provides the answer to this missiological question.

Presenter:

Dr. Ted Esler became president and CEO of Missio Nexus in June 2015, after serving in executive leadership with Pioneers USA and Pioneers Canada since 1999. His passion is to see believing communities of Jesus followers spring up among all cultures. Ted authored the book, Overwhelming Minority, about his family’s ministry in the Balkans, following the end of the Yugoslav civil wars. He previously worked as a church planter in the Balkans, and a software entrepreneur, and a consultant in the United States. Ted earned a Ph.D. in intercultural studies at Fuller Theological Seminary in Pasadena, California, and a master’s degree in theological studies from Heritage Theological Seminary in Cambridge, Ontario. He and his wife, Annette, have five children.

Missio Nexus encourages interaction on diverse and difficult topics. Be aware that the information shared in this event may not reflect the views of the Missio Nexus staff, board, or other community members.
