Ivan Liew

Missions Pastor, Woodlands Evangelical Church

Ivan Liew is the missions and outreach pastor of Woodlands Evangelical Free Church, the Missions Director for the Evangelical Free Church of Singapore, and a member of the SIM Singapore Council. His doctoral research at Asbury Theological Seminary focussed on optimizing church-agency partnerships for member health and missionary mobilisation. He subsequently led cohorts of church and missions agency leaders who worked on partnership practice, and authored Churches and Missions Agencies Together: A Relational Model for Partnership Practice with these leaders. He lived in Malaysia, Australia and the United States, before settling in Singapore where he worked as a biomedical engineer before entering full-time ministry.
