Summary

In the author’s ten years living in China, Chinese friends and foreign friends alike have told him that in many ways he is more like a Chinese person than an American. Taking his cue from the Apostle Paul, “I have become all things to all men so that by all possible means I might save some” (1 Cor 9:22), Laughlin first looks at how we are to imitate Christ’s love and humility to effectively love the locals to whom we minister. He then covers many specific aspects of life abroad and how we can better live like the locals that some may be saved.

Rethinking Missions in Native America

By Patrick Lennox | The mission to Native America is not complete. We need more Native pastors to plant new churches and to revitalize existing churches. Those pastors would benefit from seminary training and encouragement to persevere in their communities. And we need the non-Native body of Christ to come alongside and support Native brothers and sisters in their efforts to fulfill the Great Commission in North America.
