Kanita Benson is the founder and president of She Saves a Nation, a missions organization dedicated to empowering refugee girls as leaders. Her works extends across Kenya, Uganda, and Thailand. She Saves a Nation provides trauma healing, educational empowerment, and mentorship and leadership development for young girls who are the future leaders of their nations. Kanita was the 2019 award recipient for the Betsey Stockton Award from the National African American Missions Council.
