This is an overview of the preparation that cross-cultural church planters should consider before launching their ministry. It covers the fundamental topics of theology, learning culture and study of the language. It emphasizes the role of the local church in the process and highlights many pitfalls that missionaries will face. This book is best called a primer in that it is an introduction to missionary preparation.
