Student Loan Debt: Overcoming the Great Barrier

I am a student in an evangelical institution of higher learning. How can I serve God in this particular situation in His world mission?

With the rapid growth of the student population in the great cities of Asia, churches and missionary societies are increasingly eager to find new ways of reaching the university campus with the Gospel. Four million Asian students are on the march; among them, a small minority of Christians.

Responding appropriately to requests for money, especially from desperately poor beggars on the streets, is one of a missionary’s most difficult problems.

Are some of our American and British structures for ministerial training inadequate for the younger churches? Are the schools on the mission field really facing the social, cultural and spiritual problems that are innate to their soil? Does our theological education effectively aid a virile and effective growth in the church?
