Description

“Primary Audience Member care professionals, sending church personnel, mission agency personnel Description We invest significant resources in getting missionaries to the field, and on average, 47% of them leave by year 5. Why? Andrea will share her research on reasons for missionary attrition, gathered from former missionaries themselves.

Attrition results from a variety of complex stressors on the mission field that go far beyond the simplistic narratives of “”missionaries just can’t get along with each other”” or “”they didn’t walk closely enough with the Lord.”” Join her in investigating how we can keep missionaries not just surviving, but thriving on the field longer.
