Summary

In this book, the authors lay out a case for what they call “co-elevation” (this book introduces new words throughout the text). The concept is that when we elevate each other, we ourselves are elevated. It also introduces an expanded understanding of one’s team, in which all stakeholders are involved in reaching common goals. The book is organized around eight rules designed to create co-elevation. There are numerous call out boxes which contrast the “old rules” and the “new rules” and these help the reader to see what the author is describing.
