Position Summary

SEND US is seeking an experienced, talented, and motivated Integrated Marketing & Communications Manager who will be responsible for managing and executing the integrated marketing and communications planning and program development. The successful candidate will be a creative and organized leader, a compelling communicator, and a constant learner with an entrepreneurial outlook.

The Integrated Marketing & Communications Manager will work in collaboration with the leadership and staff across various disciplines, as well as multiple third-party resources, to facilitate marketing, communications, outreach, brand management, and help with events for SEND US.

This person must embrace the mission of SEND, uphold the organization’s values, and agrees with the SEND Statement of Faith, and has demonstrated sound Christian values and character in the past.

Role and Responsibilities
·       Manage and deploy SEND US integrated marketing and communications strategy, communications budget, marketing management, and tactical execution of all communications
·       Guide and build trust with US missionaries to help them with their communication responsibilities – i.e., newsletters, content development (photos, videos, praise reports)
·       Coordination, collaboration and alignment of US and Global Communications and brand storytelling
·       Oversee and manage creative content strategy and development (e.g., Photo library/repository) in coordination with Creative Media Specialist for campaign, and marketing initiatives, etc.
·       Supervise and manage projects to ensure all content aligns with brand guidelines and identity and are publication-ready

Oversee web development– Frontend and Backend – Send.org,
·       Assist in coordination and management of vendor/3rd party relationships – local printers, agencies, etc.
·       Ensure brand communication consistency with US and global campaigns/marketing initiatives
·       Direct and manage marketing strategy with Digital Manager advertising, social media, Google Ads, SEO, etc.
·       Development and collaboration of fundraising campaigns to support SEND US Development Department, i.e., annual report, build donor retention and appreciation

·       Create marketing and communications support materials in collaboration with SEND US Engagement Department, i.e., Colleges, Churches, etc.
·       Steward marketing and communication plan for new leads from website and recruiters
·       SEND US Public Relations communications management in collaboration with PR firm to create informative and interesting press releases, press kits, newsletters, and related PR materials

·       Facilitate and nurture good communication from the US office to US-sent missionaries through a monthly email blast
·       Plan and execute how we develop and deploy videos and capture photos for internal use and social media platforms; ensure there is central repository for teams to collaboratively leverage content

·       Manage consistent and timely marketing and communication meeting agendas and logistics, including team and cross-team collaboration meetings

·       Prepare and report out on marketing and communications analytics and insights; and share helpful data points across teams in collaboration with Digital Manager

·       Identify marketing and communication opportunities and industry best practices, evaluate, and report the effectiveness of communication efforts

Education and Experience
·       Bachelor’s degree: Communications, or Marketing or Related degree

·       3-5 years of non-profit or related experience or the equivalent combination of education and experience

·       Demonstrated strong verbal and written capabilities

·       Demonstrated experience in leading and managing teams, comprehensive marketing and communication plans, and strong cross-team collaboration

·       Experience with app/software platforms – SharePoint, Microsoft 365, MailChimp, etc.
