This workshop will present the benefits of using future scenarios in strategic planning. Time will be given to introducing the process before providing an opportunity for participants to practice incorporating the tools.

During several recent meetings in Nairobi, one of my goals was to reconnect with friends in the city. I had heard that a Massai friend, Sarone, had been relocated to Nairobi from Arusha and I was hoping to see him.

The author suggests that a short-term mission trip focus on one thing: impacting the life of the participant in meaningful and measurable ways.
As much as missions partners know that organizational capacity is key to sustainable ministry, they'll also quickly admit they are ill-prepared to build it.
