Why do missions’ leaders and missionaries experience so much angst about raising support? Because it’s a spiritual battle! We must see personal fund development through the lenses of God’s eyes. Christian missions agencies often “de-spiritualize” raising support. How can we trust God to fulfill the Great Commission, if we cannot trust Him to provide our daily bread? Raising support must be rooted in God’s Word. It’s time to reclaim this essential spiritual discipline. Let’s take a fresh look at what God has to say about His provision for those He’s called to serve Him full time.
