Summary
Far Off Saints by Ivan Veldhuizen is a four-week introductory study on missions that consists of five readings per week along with daily questions. Overall, Far Off Saints emphasizes God’s heart for the lost, focusing on application of the great commission to each of us. The book walks the reader through introductory information regarding people who don’t know God today, God’s plan to reach the world, and the role of the church and each of us in God’s plan. The book outlines involvement in missions from the perspective of the local church which is ideally involved in identifying, sending, and supporting missionaries.
