Ploductivity: A Practical Theology of Work & Wealth
By Douglas Wilson and Rebekah Merkle
CanonPress, 2020, 124 Pages
Summary
Doug Wilson, a pastor, prolific blogger, and founder of numerous institutions, has written a book about productivity. The first portion of the book is a theology of work, in which he sets a series of principles surrounding wealth and work. They lead the reader to the conclusion that the use of “tools” (very broadly defined to include anything that assists one’s work) is not inherently evil but rather good. The second half of the book posits that plodding is the way to greater productivity.
