Join us in beseeching (δέομαι) the Lord of the Harvest this week for…

6th. Pray for Sudan, especially in the cloudy aftermath of Khartoum’s recapture by the SAF. Famine is deepening, particularly in El Fasher, the capital of North Darfur—a region now under siege by the RSF. Ask for fragile humanitarian corridors to open, for the Church to be present where governments are failing, and for wisdom to discern what is right amid the fog of war.

  • Isaiah 58:6–7 – “Is not this the fast that I choose… to share your bread with the hungry, and bring the homeless poor into your house; when you see the naked, to cover him…”

7th. Pray for South Sudan, where another war may soon ignite. Join the South Sudanese churches calling for peace, and ask that God would turn the hearts of leaders away from bloodshed. Pray for the Church to be a visible force of peacemaking amid deep ethnic and political fractures.

  • Proverbs 21:1 – “The king’s heart is a stream of water in the hand of the Lord; he turns it wherever he will.”

8th. Pray for those reeling in the aftermath of Myanmar’s devastating earthquake: for NGOs laboring to bring aid, for believers seeking to be a blessing, for families wounded and traumatized, and for leaders who are exploiting the moment for their own ends. As C.S. Lewis once wrote, “We know God will use this for good; we just don’t know how painful that good will be.” Pray for the true Kingdom to advance—for many hurting to be helped and healed, and for war to cease.

  • Romans 8:22–23 – “The whole creation has been groaning… and not only creation, but we ourselves… wait eagerly for adoption.”

9th. Pray for immigrant churches in the US: A new study by the Center for the Study of Global Christianity suggests that 1 in 12 American Christians could be affected by mass deportations. Pray for wisdom as churches navigate the tensions between legal realities and Kingdom truths. Ask the Lord to protect the vulnerable members of the American Church and to deepen unity across every dividing line.

  • 1 Corinthians 12:26 – “If one member suffers, all suffer together; if one member is honored, all rejoice together.”

10th. Pray for those in Taiwan who live under the constant shadow of escalation and invasion, navigating both faith and geopolitics. Pray that the peace of Christ would anchor believers there, and that the global Church would be spiritually prepared for whatever future may unfold.

  • Psalm 46:2 – “Therefore we will not fear though the earth gives way, though the mountains be moved into the heart of the sea…”

11th. We pray for the Church in Iran amid an intensifying crackdown. Pray for its endurance, solidarity, and boldness in witness. Pray also for the Iranian diaspora, often grieved by what their families endure, and for imprisoned believers to remain faithful and radiant in their testimony.

  • Hebrews 13:3 – “Remember those in prison, as though in prison with them…”

12th. Pray for diaspora churches around the world—especially those formed by immigrant communities living in tension between welcome and suspicion. In this season of rising nationalism, increasing deportation threats, and fragile belonging, ask for spiritual resilience and wise leadership. These communities often bear the burden of double alienation—displaced from home, and not fully received abroad—yet they are often seedbeds of renewal. May their worship, witness, and suffering not be forgotten by the wider Body.

Ephesians 2:19 – “So then you are no longer strangers and aliens, but fellow citizens with the saints and members of the household of God.”
