Webinar: How to Share Your Organization’s Message Through Self-Publishing Books

A Peer-2-Peer Webinar for Communications and Marketing Professionals

Description:

What if you were given 3-5 hours to share your mission with a donor, prospective missionary or church partner? That’s what can happen when someone reads your book. Books have the power to change minds and inspire action. In an increasingly digitized world, physical books carry a sense of substance and value, and they can be a tangible reminder of an organization’s brand and message as they are passed from reader to reader. Unfortunately, traditional publishers select only a small number of submitted manuscripts for publication, and the publishing timeline can stretch over a year from the time the manuscript is accepted and the books arrive on shelves. The good news is that print-on-demand technology and distribution, as well as the ubiquity of ebook platforms, have made publishing accessible both to individuals and organizations with low-risk, low-cost platforms. In this webinar, I’ll share Pioneers’ experience in publishing books for brand awareness and education, explain the pros and cons of self-publishing versus traditional publishing and give some helpful steps for getting started with leveraging your organization’s message through book publishing.
