As we see a daily influx of people from almost every tribe, tongue and nation enter our communities, we can’t ignore the fact that God is orchestrating an opportunity for the people of God to welcome these beautiful people into the Body of Christ.

• What are some practical ways that the local church can be involved globally through the Diaspora?  
• What are amazing opportunities that any local church can take advantage of for the purpose of spreading the gospel amongst the Diaspora? 
• Why should we reach the Diaspora in our community?

Presenter:  

Tonya Zunigha is the Director of Missions at Faith Bible Church in Edmond, Oklahoma. Two years ago, Oklahoma received the third largest group of Afghan refugees in the United States. Tonya and FBC had little experience in refugee ministry, but they have learned a lot (and are still learning!). Prior to FBC, Tonya spent thirteen years in evangelism, discipleship, and missions mobilization with college students in the states and in Asia. She received her masters degree from Dallas Theological Seminary.
