Volunteer Opportunities

We are looking for Volunteers for ECHO?

Being a volunteer is a great way to attend the conference at a greatly reduced rate of $209.

When are volunteers expected to work? Volunteers are asked to work a minimum of 3 shifts from the following:

Tuesday – September 23

  • 10 AM – 4:00 PM

Wednesday – September 24

  • 7:00 AM – 1:30 PM
  • 1:00 PM – 7:30 PM

Thursday – September 25

  • 7:00 AM – 1:30 PM
  • 1:00 PM to 7:30 PM

Friday – September 26

  • 8:00 AM – 2:00

What tasks will I be asked to do?

  • Help with conference set-up: place signage, assemble name badges, and other tasks
  • Assist with attendee check-in
  • Assist at the Information Desk
  • Help direct attendees to where they need to go
  • Standby to help assist workshop hosts and presenters with last minute needs

Will I be able to attend sessions?

Yes. When not on your shift, you may participate in any and all sessions including meals. When on a shift, 15 minutes after the start of a session, if your assistance is not needed, you are welcome to join a session. We ask that you leave 5 minutes before the end of that session so that you are at your post at the conclusion of the session.

When will I know if I have been selected to volunteer.

We will be in touch within a few days of receiving your application.

  • If you would like to volunteer and plan to attend the entire conference, you must work a minimum of 3 shifts to receive a discounted registration. One of those shifts must be WEDNESDAY morning or afternoon. Please select at least 3 shifts from all those listed below. In the Comments box you may indicate your top choices and we will do our best to honor your wishes. If you are willing to work more that shifts, please indicate that below as well.

    By submitting this request, I am stating that I am 18 years or older and wish to serve as a volunteer for the 2025 Mission Leaders Conference.

    I understand that during my shift, my commitment is as a “volunteer first, participant second” and agree that, if needed, my volunteer duty will take priority over participation in the conference. I agree that I will not reserve nor take a seat until at least 10 minutes after a session or meal starts.
