We need technical staff to project possible failures, develop risk mitigation plans and coordinate maintenance. Antenna Maintenance Specialist Role Summary: Caribbean

Works with the Station Manager and Maintenance Supervisor, properly maintaining antenna systems and other equipment needed to operate a 500 kW Medium Wave (AM) radio station.

Ability to work independently and lead teams

Research, design, explain, coordinate, and follow a planned course of action on projects

Climb and work safely at heights in excess of 400’, in good health, and have experience in safely lifting and moving heavy objects

Responsibilities:

Regularly inspect towers, anchors, Phillystran Guys, painting, re-tensioning, lighting, and repairing/replacing braces in accordance with best engineering and safety practices

Inspect all safety equipment and supplies/tools for each tower job and coordinate advance purchases

Project possible failures, develop risk mitigation plan, and coordinate maintenance on towers

Instruct tower workers in safety and proper execution of the job

Organize and lead work crews for all antenna maintenance

Desirable Qualifications:

Bachelor’s or associate degree in engineering, or certification in tower erection and maintenance from a recognized institutionPractical experience or knowledge in several of these areas: air conditioning, mechanical, auto/diesel, electrical, painting, roofing, and related areas
