Missions to Muslims: Cutting the Nerve?

If revival movements have often led the way to missionary advance, philosophical and theological speculation have too frequently cut the nerve of biblical evangelism and contributed to missionary retrenchment.

I see the evangelical model of exegesis developed through history as an easier and more directly pertinent methodological influence on our contemporary experience in cross-cultural hermeneutic.

One of the phenomena of our day is that, alongside a spirit of renewal and change that is sweeping through the Muslim world, there is a parallel resurgence of interest in the church in getting involved in the task of evangelizing the Muslim world.
