Empowering Church Mission Leaders: Join The Cohort with New Scholarship Opportunities

At Missio Nexus, we believe that strong leadership contributes to effective missions. That’s why we created The Cohort, a 9-month executive coaching experience designed specifically for Church Mission Leaders (CMLs). This program equips leaders to grow spiritually, lead strategically, and build lasting relationships with peers and mentors.

Now, we’re excited to announce a new opportunity: scholarships are available to help more CMLs access this transformative experience. We’re offering up to $3,100 in total scholarships, which can be distributed as either $500 or $1,000!

The Cohort: An Executive Coaching Program for Church Mission Leaders

My name is Jim Pendleton and I am thankful for my friend, Carlos Negron, who is the Director of Church Engagement at Missio Nexus. I am the Director of Global Missions at First Evangelical Church in Memphis, TN.

I want to share with you my experience at a Missio Nexus Executive Coaching Program for Church Mission Leaders that I participated in a few years ago.

When I attended, it was recommended that participants be relatively new (within 5 years) to their role as a Church Missions Leader. For me, I was FIVE DAYS into this new role at my church.

This intensive time with a few other guys in my situation was foundational for me as we shared together how each church approaches the “cross-cultural proclamation of the Gospel.” Missio Nexus help me assess where I am and where our church is, when it comes to developing an effective program that is God honoring as we seek to “make disciples of all nations.” AND, I learned from these other guys, who have now become live-long friends of mine. We still communicate with each other and pray for each other.

I would encourage anyone considering this opportunity to talk more specifically with Carlos about what to expect and how it would benefit you personally AND benefit your church!

God bless……….

Jim Pendleton
