Baptisms in the Middle East
During a training and preparation visit this month in the Middle East, some of our Area Strategy Team leaders were invited by a local leader to participate in a baptism service for three new brothers who accepted Jesus during a National-to-National (N2N) evangelism project this past December.
“[We] were privileged to share words of encouragement from the Bible to these brothers and pray for them before they went into the water…it was very encouraging to see with my own eyes the fruits of our common efforts, as we organize these N2Ns around the globe,” said a local coordinator.
God is opening doors in unprecedented ways in the Middle East. While religious persecution is still a present threat, our ministry partners there are reporting that Christian churches are experiencing a unique time of freedom, openness, and growth. During this N2N project, 157 people heard the gospel and 47 people responded with a profession of faith.
