Description: Measuring Impact addresses a question that every Christian ministry is asking (or should be!): how might we best evaluate the effectiveness of our ministry? It’s not an easy question to answer, but there are answers …if we ask the right questions. Craig honed his questioning skills during his 15-year marketing research career. Since joining Leadership Resources in 1989, he has been asking, “how is God using us?….what’s really happening?…and what’s not happening??? Craig will be sharing what he and his team have learned as they pursue continuous learning through on-going assessment.
Presenter: Craig Parro joined Leadership Resources in 1989 as its first International Director, helping develop its non-formal pastoral training emphasis on biblical exposition. He currently gives overall leadership to the mission, overseeing a staff of 35 families. Craig teaches extensively and has equipped and encouraged pastors throughout the Americas, Africa, Eurasia, and the South Pacific. He has an MA in Mission from TEDS.
Craig serves on the Board of Directors of TOPIC (Trainers of Pastors International Coalition), an association of pastoral training organizations focused on accelerating pastoral training worldwide. He has authored several articles including, What Really Happens When We Train Leaders?, EMQ, January 2012.
Prior to joining Leadership Resources, Craig spent 15 years at Market Facts Inc., a major survey research company based in Chicago, IL. He progressed through the company to the position of Vice President of client services handling major corporate accounts including Ford Motor Company and Coca-Cola USA.
