Webinar: Creative Access Funding Using Digital Currency
Description:
Cross-border payments have become a thorn in the side for the global missions venture. “Cash in a backpack” is just not cutting it. Bitcoin represents a new technological protocol to use, just as the Apostle Paul spread the gospel using the key innovative advance in his day: Roman roads. Imagine reliable, almost free, nearly instant transfers to anywhere there is a smartphone connected to the internet. We’re presenting findings from our research, funded by the Missio Nexus Innovation Grant. We’ll give practical “how-to” directions on buying, sending, holding, and exchanging Bitcoin for local currency. Explore the project website at https://brilliancelabs.org/bitcoin. Watch this webinar from 2023 to learn of our initial premise and tactics (https://missionexus.org/webinar-bitcoin-for-missions-unlocking-the-potential-and-exploring-the-possibilities/).
