Overview:
Micro Innovation Grant:
- Funding Range: $25,000 – $50,000
- Tailored for smaller, impactful projects with a keen emphasis on innovation.
- Prioritize meticulously planned initiatives demonstrating empathy for ministry impact.
- Awarded to approximately 5-7 Missio Nexus member minitries.
Expectations for Micro Grant Applicants:
- Emphasis on Evangelism, Discipleship, and Church Planting as the primary focus.
- Clearly articulated and well-thought-out process to discern the project’s uniqueness and viability.
- Explicit presentation of end-user impact, with a focus on reaching the unreached and unengaged.
- Awarded funds should sufficiently cover the project’s cost, and implementation must commence within the year following fund receipt.
- Introduction of breakthrough or innovative initiatives tailored to the ministries context.
- Originality is key – applications should not be a repackaging of existing projects or ideas.
- Strong preference for direct communication from the project manager.
- Submission of a 3-5 minute video explanation by the project manager, providing insights into the project’s vision, goals, and expected impact.
