Global Frontier Missions (GFM) seeks an HR Coordinator to join our team dedicated to mobilizing, training, and mobilizing missionaries serving the least reached people groups of the earth. Based near Atlanta, our 24-year-old organization conducts robust training programs, both in-person and online, with strategic sites in South Asia and Southeast Asia. Our mission is to reverse the trend of missionary attrition. While 47% of missionaries leave the field before their first term is over, our graduates average 7 years in the field.

The HR Coordinator will focus on staff recruitment and fostering a supportive community, implementing organizational policies, and maintaining staff records. This full-time paid role (33-40 hours) offers hybrid work options at our Decatur and Tucker, GA, work sites. It includes 3 weeks of set time off around major US holidays, 3 additional weeks of paid time off, and may use up to 2 workweeks each year for a vision trip overseas.

Responsibilities:

  • HR policy communication and implementation
  • Staff recruitment
  • Staff onboarding, transitions, and offboarding
  • Orientations and staff trainings
  • Payroll and HR information systems and record keeping
  • Assistance with performance management and recognition
  • Employee relations
  • Compilation of weekly internal staff updates
