Website Christian Veterinary Mission

Serving Christ through veterinary medicine

Christian Veterinary Mission (CVM) is a Christ-centered, non-profit organization purposed to walk alongside veterinary professionals who desire to bring glory to God using their professional skills in their own community and cross-culturally. Animals are a bridge to relationships. Whether in a clinic in urban America, a veterinary school in Bolivia, the countryside of Mongolia or serving the Cherokee Nation, relationships are formed over the care of an animal. Trust is built, hearts are opened, and a seed is planted. Find out more about us at https://cvm.org/.

The Chief Operating Officer (COO) serves as a special assistant to the Chief Executive Officer to drive the organizational strategy in alignment with the CVM Board of Trustees’ direction and policy. The COO supports paramount organizational responsibilities, such as the Board of Trustees, strategy and fundraising, and policy development and legal compliance. Reporting to the CEO and serving as a member of the CVM Executive Team, the COO works in collaboration with the Leadership Team to plan, organize, and manage operations that uphold the CVM Vision, Mission, Core Values, and Doctrine[i]. Daily, the COO provides organizational and administrative leadership to the operations of the organization and helps provide solutions to complex challenges. The COO serves in a ministry role and will lead or teach Biblical beliefs to advance the gospel and the spiritual maturity of staff and constituents.

The position is full-time, exempt, with a salary starting at $95,000/year. CVM offers full benefits including medical, dental, and vision insurance, paid holidays, generous paid time off and participation in a 403b retirement plan.
