Whether we serve two weeks or longer term cross culturally, we need to have a good grasp of the Word as well as understand the culture so our message can come across to our hearers unhindered.
This workshop will address some essential aspects that will help to prepare short-termers before, during and after the trip:
- adequate training: basic ministry skills, discipline of prayer, team building,
- study about the country, religion, and the national church
- developing an attitude of a servant, being willing to submit to team leadership and national leadership
- training in basic language, food, culture
