This workshop will look at the need for flexibility, agility, creativity, and innovation in light of the impact COVID-19 has had and will have on mission organizations. While some have lamented the need to “abandon our mission” during this crisis, we believe this language is not helpful. Our mission is demonstrating and proclaiming the Gospel in every area of life, including global pandemics. We will look at examples of healthy mission “pivots” in this and other crises, and how our openness to the innovation of the Spirit can have an even greater Gospel impact during and following such crisis events.
