Ted Esler • President of Missio Nexus
Dr. Ted Esler became president and CEO of Missio Nexus in June 2015, after serving in executive leadership with Pioneers USA and Pioneers Canada since 1999. Ted was a church planter in the Balkans and holds a Ph.D. in intercultural studies at Fuller Theological Seminary in Pasadena, California.
He and his wife, Annette, have five children and have been active in establishing The Living Room Orlando, a house church network in Florida.
Marvin J. Newell • Senior Vice President of Missio Nexus
Dr. Marvin Newell provides oversight to the educational services of Missio Nexus and also functions as the network’s missiologist.
Marv and his wife Peggy served for 15 years in Indonesia where his primary role was teaching in a theological college. He then served as Asia-Pacific Regional Director with TEAM six years, and following that as professor of Missions and Intercultural Studies at the Moody Theological Seminary in Chicago before assuming leadership of CrossGlobal Link in 2007.
