Description: Youth mission trips have been an anchor of youth ministry programming for over 2 decades but are they worth it? Some say there’s no life-long change and it doesn’t result in long-term missionaries while others see it as laying a foundation of faith in action. We will address 3 specific questions in this webinar: 1) What’s the end goal of youth missions? 2) What are the generational trends within Gen Z? 3) What practical training and mission principles are necessary when we engage youth in short-term missions?
We will explore how our missiology and orthopraxy will answer the question for us about whether youth missions have any place in today’s church or global mission movements.
