Righteous Rides is actively seeking an experienced missionary couple to join the team at the headquarters in Truesdale, MO. This couple will utilize their experience in missions and understanding of missionary furlough challenges to assist in serving missionary customers, by “providing cars and care to missionaries in a manner worthy of God”.
About Righteous Rides:
Righteous Rides provides reliable and affordable transportation to international evangelical missionaries on furlough. With a fleet of 160 minivans stationed across the country, we ensure that missionaries can focus on their ministry without the added stress of transportation logistics. Our mission is to serve those who serve, facilitating their Kingdom work with compassion and excellence.
Position Summary:
As Program Directors, the couple in this position will help lead the operational activities at the Truesdale MO headquarters. They will be the primary face to the missionaries that visit the facility and will assist in leading the staff and volunteers serving there.
Key Responsibilities:
Program Oversight:
o Manage the van program to ensure that all elements run smoothly and cohesively.
o Recommend and execute improvements to the program to enhance the care provided to missionaries and increase efficiency in program operations.
Leadership and Management:
o Provide leadership and direction to program staff and volunteers.
o Oversee program costs, ensuring resources are allocated effectively and efficiently.
Communication
o Participate in communicating the Righteous Rides mission to raise up partners willing to Pray, Serve, and Give.
o Collaborate in the development of communication materials (e.g. newsletters, podcasts, etc.) to keep partners informed.
Missionary Care
o Serve as the primary interface for the organization to the missionaries using the ministry services, ensuring they feel loved, appreciated and cared for.
Qualifications:
A strong commitment to the mission and values of Righteous Rides.
Proven experience in organizational/team leadership.
Excellent organizational and administrative abilities.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Support Raising Requirement:
This position at Righteous Rides is support raised. Employees will be trained and assisted with relationship-based fundraising and are expected to raise 100% of their salary.
