Words That Serve You Well: The Editor as Curator, Refiner and Influencer

October 3 @ 2:00 pm - 3:15 pm EDT

Virtual Event Virtual Event
Free – $24.95

A Peer-2-Peer Event for Communications and Marketing Professionals

Editors in Great Commission organizations often wear numerous hats as they shape not only messaging and phraseology but also mindsets. What does it look like to wisely and intentionally steward the roles of curator, refiner and influencer? This webinar combines inspiration with practical tips to help editors identify their unique functions and embrace each with excellence.

Presenter: Beverly Guy is passionate about helping others’ words serve them well for the glory of God and the blessing of His people. She has worked in communication roles for Christar U.S. since 2007 and currently serves as Strategic Messaging Team Lead and Editor, as well as offers freelance editing and consulting services. A graduate of Philadelphia Biblical University (now Cairn University), she’s a lifelong student of language and continually intrigued by its power to shape thoughts, attitudes and actions. Bev and her husband, Dave, whom she met on the elementary school soccer field, live in Pennsylvania.

Missio Nexus encourages interaction on diverse and difficult topics.
