Summary
This book catalogues the contributions, potential, and challenges of Africa in relation to global mission. It seeks to explore how Africa, including the African diaspora and people of African descent, can steward its “unprecedented God-given moment in global mission history well” (page 28). In seven chapters, the two authors trace Africa’s past participation in global mission, analyze its present potential in mission mobilization, discuss its persistent problems, and give valuable principles and practical ways to participate in global leadership and harvest in the mission of God. In reply to people who wonder, “Can anything good come out of Africa?” (page 31), the authors give a resounding “yes.”
