Author Interview: Daniel Im
The book presents a discipleship framework that seeks to equip and empower pastors to lead, evangelize, disciple, and preach differently in today’s post-everything (post-pandemic, post-truth, post-Christian) world. This new world is different from the previous generations’ contexts that assumed people’s interest in Christianity and the church. The book’s discipleship framework addresses today’s different contexts that relate to four kinds of people in the church (i.e., sleepers [uninterested non-Christians]; seekers [interested non-Christians]; consumers [uninterested Christians]; and disciples [interested Christians]). The author describes these four kinds of people and proposes how to wake up the sleepers, welcome the seekers, challenge the consumers, and equip the disciples.
