The Memorial Christian Hospital opened a new multi-level replacement building four years ago. Since that opening the team has prepared studies with what could be done with the old facility and other areas of the campus for ministry development. In addition to renovating the existing hospital, the team is proposing new national staff housing, a new primary school and new Bible college be constructed; all meant to expand the influence of the Gospel in the region.
The project needs skilled people in the area of construction project management and the trades (general, electrical, plumbing). The campus is in need of several facility maintenance managers.
Skills Required
Construction Project Management – The ability to lead and work with national contractors and trades people (with the help of translators). Skilled in leadership, project organization, financial tracking and other skills needed to oversee construction work
Construction Trades Skills – The ability to use a specific trade and lead national workers in that trade to carry out construction.
Facility Maintenance – The ability to lead and work with a team of national facility maintenance personnel in caring for the campus and hospital.
