Catalyzing Collaboration for Great Commission Breakthroughs
Want to be part of an innovative global team that is changing the world of missions?
VisionSynergy is a unique ministry with a strategic role in the worldwide Christian movement. We equip leaders to effectively collaborate for Great Commission outcomes. Over 20 years, we’ve seen time and again that collaboration results in breakthroughs not possible when organizations work alone. That’s why VisionSynergy exists – to equip leaders to develop networks that are advancing the gospel among the least reached people and places of the world.
As God is connecting the global church like never before in history, VisionSynergy is in its most significant season of growth. We want someone in this development position who is passionate about telling our story to engage a new generation of major donors who will partner with us for long-term sustainability as we expand our ministry in multiple countries.
The Chief Development Officer will be the lead strategist and frontline fundraiser for VisionSynergy’s development efforts, with a focus on cultivating, soliciting, and stewarding major donor and foundation relationships. This individual will work closely with the CEO and leadership to develop and execute a comprehensive fundraising strategy aligned with VisionSynergy’s mission and growth goals. The CDO will carry their own portfolio of high-capacity donors and foundations, while also serving as a thought partner to the CEO on key donor engagements.
This is a unique opportunity for a relationally gifted, spiritually grounded leader who thrives on cultivating resource partnerships and telling compelling stories of Kingdom impact. Application details at bottom of description.

ABOUT VISIONSYNERGY
VisionSynergy is a mission service organization dedicated to advancing ministry collaboration. We empower Christian leaders and their ministry organizations to work together for the best possible outcomes by developing and strengthening collaborative initiatives in high-priority areas of world mission.
The core of our work is equipping and coaching mission leaders to gain the vision, values, and skills to form and facilitate networks focused on Great Commission breakthroughs among unreached peoples and places. For 20 years, we have worked with mission leaders to launch, facilitate, and strengthen hundreds of global, regional, and local mission networks. These networks have collectively involved thousands of churches, ministries, and mission organizations focused on a wide variety of mission fields and initiatives. Over many years, we have earned a strong reputation as a trusted neutral broker – connecting people, strategies, and resources to empower effective collaboration.
VisionSynergy is a collaborative, international team of about 30 full-time and part-time people with a wide range of skills and experiences. We are a distributed team located across six countries and eight U.S. states. With an operating budget of about $2.3M we are supported by a generous group of financial investors who understand the leveraged power of collaboration. The majority of our funding comes through major grants from Christian foundations, family offices, and other high-capacity individual donors. VisionSynergy is a healthy organization with strong supporters, a proven track record, and an engaged and energetic board of directors who provide oversight and strategic direction for the ministry.
