One of our staff, a UK national, was told that he could not do any support raising while he was in the USA on a tourist visa. Does anyone know the rules? There are many national workers who have come to the States. How have they done fund raising / support raising? Do they just ignore the restriction? This is not theoretical — want to know…

It is our understanding that if the charity under which the missionary is raising support, that missionary is covered by the solicitation registrations of the charity. So, if this person has a Stewardship account and is using IGF/TrustBridge for the processing of the donations, they are fine. Otherwise, they need to have their own…
