2026 CEO-2iC Joint Peer 2 Peer Retreat

April 13 @ 4:00 pm - April 15 @ 1:00 pm EDT

$575.00 – $1,275.00

Invitation

Join the CEO & 2iC Peer-2-Peer Retreat to address leadership challenges with practical solutions. This event features two distinct tracks: one for CEOs and one for their second-in-command (2iCs). Equip your executive team with role-tailored sessions and collaborate together in joint sessions.

Participant Profile

This retreat is for the CEO/President, and their second-in-command (executive director, VP, etc.). Attendees will gain insights, strategies, and a renewed sense of purpose to lead their organizations effectively. You do not have to attend with your CEO or your 2iC to participate. Each year, we’re delighted to welcome an increasing number of spouses to the event. While there isn’t a dedicated program specifically for spouses, their presence is warmly encouraged and appreciated.

What You’ll Learn

In today’s rapidly evolving cultural landscape, bridging the gap between legacy values and a multigenerational workforce has become a leadership litmus test. You are invited to an exclusive, CEO/2iC-only forum to engage in candid, high-level dialogue on navigating these complex cultural shifts. Exchange confidential insights with your peers on how to steer an organization through deep-rooted change while staying true to your mission. Guest speaker Mark Matlock, who has just done this sort of organizational steering, will be presenting how he has navigated these waters. This will not be recorded or Zoomed – join us in the room as we grapple with these issues together. There will also be open sessions in which feedback you provide will outline the topics discussed in a group format.

In addition, learn how agentic AI is changing how mission organizations communicate, operate, and protect their people. Kai Blakeborough and Kyle Johnson will translate 2026’s emerging AI capabilities into leadership-level implications, then walk through liability and coverage considerations that matter for mission sending organizations. Leave with a simple AI risk framework and generous time for Q&A.

Finally, join us for an update on the U.S. economy and global markets geared specifically for Non-Profit Leaders. Bryan Taylor will provide an overview of the current state of the U.S. and Global economy and share his insights on the key trends impacting both equity and fixed income markets in 2026.

Why You Want to Participate

Enhance your leadership skills and strengthen your executive partnership. Gain a deeper understanding of your role, develop strategic solutions, and build a supportive network.
